Checked Baggage

LOT Polish Airlines allows 3 bags each up to 32 kg for LOT Business Class, 2 bags within 23 kg per bag for LOT Premium Economy in Intercontinental flights, and one bag allowed within 23 kg for LOT Economy Class and LOT Economy Saver. Passengers have the option to purchase extra baggage. Some items are advised airlines not to carry in checked bags like- cash, metals, jewelry, commercial documents, electronic devices, etc.

The Airline is providing services to the general public in three classes.

LOT Economy Class

The passenger will get a reclining seat with a width of 43 cm, which consists of an adjustable headrest in each seat. To ensure the comfort of boarding passengers LOT Polish Airlines offers warm blankets and pillows with an entertainment package consisting of 100 films and series. In long-haul flights, the passenger will get two meals one at the start of the journey and the last before the landing of the flight.

LOT Premium Economy

The seats are wider than the standard one with a width offer 50 cm with a headrest which is adjustable and footrests along with a set of necessaries. LOT Business Class

LOT Polish Airlines Pet Policy

IN-CABIN TRAVEL: FLY WITH A SMALL DOG OR CAT
If your dog or cat meets the requirements listed in LOT Polish Airlines pet policy to travel in-cabin, you will need a compliant airline pet carrier. You must notify LOT Polish Airlines that you are flying with a dog or cat. Reservations cannot be made online.

CHECKED BAGGAGE OR CARGO TRAVEL: FLY WITH A LARGER DOG CAT OR OTHER ANIMAL
If your pet is flying LOT Polish Airlines, if it is an animal other than a dog or cat, or if it is a very long flight, LOT Polish Airlines may transport your pet in the cargo section of the aircraft according to its regulations. This section of the cargo department has the same temperature and pressure as the passenger cabin. TIP: Be sure to tell the Captain of the aircraft that your pet is flying in the cargo hold so that they can be sure to keep the temperature at the proper level. Women traveling while pregnant

There are no contraindications to traveling by plane if your pregnancy does not have complications; However, we recommend consulting your doctor, particularly before a long flight.

Women up to the 32nd week of pregnancy may travel with the consent of their doctor without the need for a special document.

When should the MEDIF form be completed?

in case of a pregnancy with complications and/or twins, triplets, etc.,
after the 32nd week of pregnancy.

A medical examination form must be completed by a doctor less than 14 days before the start of the trip. This means in the event of a round trip with a stay over 14 days, another medical examination form must be provided for the return trip sections.

The MEDIF FORM should be submitted to the airline no later than 72 hours before your planned flight.

Child travelling unaccompanied

General rules

Children under 12 are allowed to travel unaccompanied only with the assistance of our ground and cabin crew.
Children over 12 may travel unaccompanied or, at the parents’ request, take advantage of our qualified assistance.
Children under the care of a person over 16 do not have to use the service.
Unaccompanied minors under the age of 16 who are traveling alone (with or without the assistance purchased) are not allowed to transport animals (either on board or in the baggage hold).

Please note that the assistance service is NOT available on code-share flights.

Your child’s age

Children aged 5 to 12 years old

For children aged 5 to 12 traveling unaccompanied, we offer special assistance. Care is provided by a LOT Cabin Crew member, as well as passenger service ground staff designated at the airport.

Young people aged 12 to 17 years old

Young people between the ages of 12 and 17 can travel independently without requiring special assistance. If you choose not to book assistance, your child will be treated as an adult and independent passenger. In case of a flight delay or cancellation, we are happy to assist if your child informs LOT staff of their age and the need for assistance.
