According to Qatar Airways’ Unaccompanied Minor policy, children between 5 and 15 years (inclusive) must book an Unaccompanied Minor or Escort service if they are traveling alone.

Qatar Airways Unaccompanied Minor policy also requires that:

Children below 5 will not be accepted—they must travel with a parent or an adult guardian.
Children who have reached their 16^th birthday are not eligible to travel as unaccompanied minors.
Advance approval must be obtained:

At least 48 hours before departure if you’re booking the Unaccompanied Minor service.
At least 72 hours before departure if you’re booking the Escort service.
Both services must be booked through a local Qatar Airways office—not online.
