At the airport, what deadlines should be met?

  • For domestic flights, guests must check in at least 2 hours before departure, and for international flights, at least 3 hours before departure.

  • It is 15 minutes before the scheduled departure time that the PAL boarding gates close for PAL flights.

Online check-in with Philippine Airlines

To access Philippine Airlines’ online check-in service, follow these steps: 

  • Visit the official Philippine Airlines website in your web browser.
  • On the homepage, click the Check-in tab.
  • It is possible to retrieve your booking using the booking reference, e-ticket number, and frequent flyer number. 
  • In the confirmation email or receipt, you may find the booking reference and e-ticket number.

  • Complete the online check-in process by following the prompts.
  • Philippine Airlines boarding passes can be generated electronically, saved on your mobile device, or printed. 

A PAL check-in is not allowed for the following:

  • A booking for more than 15 passengers under one name.
  • A minor who is unaccompanied.
  • Guests with special needs or medical conditions.

Mobile check-in for Philippine Airlines

  • You can check in with Philippine Airlines’ mobile app by simply following these steps:

  • Launch the PAL app on your smartphone.

  • Upon completing the mobile check-in process, your Philippine Airlines mobile boarding pass will be generated.

Check-in at PAL airport

When checking in at the airport for your Philippine Airlines flight the traditional way, here’s what you need to know:

Early check-in

Check-in counters at Ninoy Aquino International Airport are open as early as 01:30 AM for domestic flights, allowing guests to check in the day before.

It is possible to check in for international flights at Ninoy Aquino International Airport as early as 04:00 AM the same day before departure.

Express Counter

PAL offers an express counter at the airport for seniors with up to two passengers and traveling companions who do not check luggage.
