Flight cancellations:

  • Passengers can cancel their flight within 24 hours of purchase for free. However, it is best to make sure that the departure date is more than seven days away from the purchase date.
  • The refund for the canceled flight and taxes will be given as travel credits, which can be used within 12 months of the allocation window if you cancel a non-refundable flight ticket.
  • International flight cancellations must be made 4 hours before departure, and domestic flight cancellations must be made 2 hours before departure.
  • If your flight is canceled by the airline, you must rebook the flight or use the travel vouchers provided by the airline within 12 months to reserve a new flight.

Name correction policy:

  • Passengers can make changes to their name once the booking is completed by using the Manage Booking tab if it is misspelled.
  • In the Manage Booking section, you can change at least three characters 48 hours before the scheduled departure time.
  • For name corrections, passengers will be charged a fee.

Manage My Booking: Terms and Conditions

  • The passenger cannot rebook a group booking with ten or more passengers if there are nine or fewer passengers in the group.
  • It is not possible to upgrade certain types of fares. For example:
  • The Frequent Flyer Program awards tickets.
  • Tickets for ID/AD.
  • Fares for unaccompanied minors
  • Bookings for groups of ten or more
  • MEAD
  • Reservations for infants
  • Flights are operated by codeshare partners other than Philippine Airlines.
  • Flights on charter
  • It is also important to note that PAL will not refund the seat selection amount if the passenger cancels their flight. Further, Advanced Seat Selection only applies to the purchased fare.
  • There is no possibility of rebooking, transferring, or endorsing neighbor-free seats. However, passengers can get a refund if they cancel.
  • A special meal must be requested at least 72 hours before departure. Meal upgrades are also non-refundable.
  • It is not possible for passengers who get a fare upgrade to get a refund on their meal request.
  • On select flights, special meals are also available.
